Making embroidery and sewing with thread is so close to painting. It’s all about colors, texture, composition, value… It helps me to say just the essentials with the expression, as always.

My encounter with fabrics and threads opened up to me new ways of handling materials and a new creative process. Embroidering is a slow process compared to how I paint in the energy of the moment.
