Horses feelings through their head

Expressions are the essence of the horses. Because they can’t speak, they have an impressive and so subtil panel of expression possibilities. We, as human, don’t have this sensibility and we have to learn their langage to interpret their feelings. In my expressions paintings, I often focus on the head and a bit of the neck. With their position and orientation, the eyes and nostrils, you have the basis to interprete an emotion, the emotion which often is your.
