LINO PRINTS COLLECTION
The love of lines you can find in my work has met one day a lino cutting tool which was able to make lines in volume. The simplicity of the tool, the work of the hand which releases the full and the empty to achieve a subtle and refined impression, in black and white, seduced me. Because the essential remains. The right dose between lines and emotion, black playing with white and responding to each other. In this handmade print, there are all those little imperfections that make each one of them unique & original.

WHAT IS LINOCUT?
Linocut, also known as lino print, lino printing or linoleum art, is a technique of linoleum engraving. I draw directly on a lino sheet used for a relief surface.
The design is cut into the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, with the raised (uncarved) areas representing a reversal (mirror image) of the parts to show printed.
The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller, and then impressed onto paper or fabric. The actual printing can be done by hand, what I do, or with a printing press.
TESTIMONIALS
“Gorgeous and dreamy. I wish I could have ordered it in a larger size. It’s spellbinding.”
“Bénédicte’s style is mesmerising and really captures the expression of the horses”
“The way the silver paint catches the light as you view it is awesome. It just adds depth and movement to the images which Is already much alive. It is a real honor to have one of your original painting. I have never seen horses done so well. You have really captured their essence. They are very much alive.”
